This is a lovely way to spend time with friends. Jan is a clear and patient teacher who gave us the advice and support to help us make really professional looking pieces. She was organised and flexible. Would thoroughly recommend!

My friends organised a private workshop with Jan for my birthday, a perfect present. We all had such fun and came away with lovely pieces of jewellery that we’re all really proud of. Jan is so welcoming and helpful, we all loved the workshop so much we want to do another one!

I thoroughly enjoyed Jan’s workshop and was delighted with the antique finish, double drop earrings I produced.
Her studio was a perfect, comfortable and peaceful space within which to learn and work. The constant refreshments including homemade brownies were a lovely touch.
Jan was a very knowledgeable, patient and inspirational tutor. The small group of four allowed for much individual attention - perfect for beginners. My many questions were answered in a way that was easy to understand and helped to expand my knowledge of this innovative material.
I came away with a newfound appreciation for silver clay and I’m looking forward to doing more courses in the future.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning a new craft or simply enjoying a creative outlet.

Jan's workshop was well thought out, captivating and informative. There was a perfect amount of information and we were given lots of freedom in what we make, with plenty of inspiration and ideas provided.
Most importantly though, Jan was patient, welcoming and friendly, making the whole workshop feel comfortable and inviting, and that no question was too silly. The touches like the homemade brownies, glass of alcohol free fizz and a steady stream of tea and biscuits were so lovely too.
I can't wait for the next workshop!
