This is where your silver clay journey begins. Learn how to make your own unique silver jewellery that you can wear with pride! In my hands on classes in Southsea, you'll delve into the enchanting world of silver jewellery with my Silver Clay taster workshops. Craft your own jewellery pieces while learning how to work silver clay, unique designs to reflect your style and creativity. No prior experience is needed, as I will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident during the activity.
You'll discover how to mould, shape, and fire this magical material, watching your creations come to life right before your eyes.
The class will provide you with materials to create a necklace or a pair of dangly earrings with a textured finish, giving you the opportunity to learn and create something truly special to take home.

Beginner's Silver Clay Botanicals Workshop £85
Step into a quiet space of creativity, time to slow down and enjoy learning something new. In this beginner's workshop, you’ll learn to shape fine silver clay into meaningful keepsakes— here silver meets the delicate beauty of leaves and petals, impressions of the natural world captured in precious metal.
Guided gently, you’ll press real botanical elements into the moulding material to imprint texture and form. The clay is then placed in the mould and will take on the form of the botanical element you have chosen.
As the clay transforms under fire into pure silver, your unique piece emerges— it's a magical process!
No experience or artistic ability needed. Just your hands, your heart, and a little time to slow down.

Silver Clay Rockpool Pendant Class £90
Discover the magic of silver clay in this jewellery-making workshop in Southsea, where you’ll design and craft your own beautiful rockpool-inspired pendant. You’ll learn how to roll, texture, mould, and shape the clay to form tiny shells and pebbles, and even set a sparkling stone to add that special finishing touch.
This workshop is perfect for complete beginners as well as those looking to expand their creative skills. No previous jewellery-making experience is needed -- the process is structured, accessible, and endlessly rewarding. You’ll receive plenty of one-to-one guidance in a small, friendly group of no more than five participants.
What to expect:
- Learn how to work with silver clay: rolling, texturing, moulding, and forming.
- Create and embellish a pendant with shells, pebbles, and a sparkling stone.
- Fire your piece to watch it transform into solid fine silver.
- Oxidise and polish your pendant for a professional, high-quality finish.
- All tools and materials included, with expert tuition throughout!
Silver clay is made from recycled silver, so you’ll be creating a stunning, sustainable piece of jewellery with minimal environmental impact. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a handcrafted silver necklace that’s uniquely yours -- a beautiful keepsake to treasure or gift to someone special.

Silver Clay and Sea Glass Rockpool Pendant Workshop £150
Join me for a relaxing, creative day using magical silver clay to make a beautiful and unique rockpool pendant with a piece of sea glass.
You will learn how to make a bezel to hold your sea glass and attach it to your pendant. You will then learn how to roll, texture, mould, and form the clay to make tiny shells and pebbles to embellish your pendant. The design choices are all yours, so you can leave the background plain, add texture, and add as few or as many embellishments as you wish, making your pendant uniquely yours. If you wish, you may oxidise your pendant to bring out the details and finally give it a good polish.
You are welcome to bring your own sea glass if you have collected any yourself, but ideally, the piece should be about 1 cm in diameter, thin, and flat. If it isn’t suitable, you may not be able to use it at the workshop. If you don’t have your own, a selection of sea glass will be available to use.
This is slightly more advanced than my usual beginner’s workshop, so places will be limited to 3 to ensure plenty of one-to-one attention and plenty of time to finish your piece.

Silver Clay Seashell Necklace and Earrings Workshop £90
Learn the beauty of silver clay in this jewellery-making workshop in Southsea, where you’ll design and craft your own beautiful set of seashell earrings and a shell charm necklace. You’ll learn how to mould and shape the clay to form tiny shells and to solder on earring posts and jump rings. This workshop is perfect for complete beginners as well as those looking to expand their creative skills. No previous jewellery-making experience is needed—the process is structured, accessible, and rewarding. You’ll receive plenty of one-to-one guidance in a small, friendly group of no more than five participants.

- Create a pendant and a pair of stud earrings in the form of natural shells.
- Fire your pieces to watch them transform into solid fine silver.

Silver Clay Oak Leaf and Acorn Workshop £120
In this silver clay class, you'll learn how to make a mould from a real acorn and press an oak leaf into the silver clay to form an impression. You will then use the mould and impression you have created to make two beautiful and unique pieces of silver jewellery. No prior experience is needed, as I will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident during the activity.
You'll discover how to mould, shape, fire, and finish this magical material, watching your creations come to life right before your eyes.
I will provide you with all the materials you need to create your oak leaf and acorn and chains will be available to purchase so you can take home something truly unique that you can wear straight away.
As this workshop will be held at Slow Goose Flowers in Wickham you will also have a lovely jam jar of dahlias from the farm to take away and if the weather permits a walk up the field to see where they are grown.
Join Nicki and me for a fun experience that will ignite your creativity and result in beautiful jewellery that you can wear home on the day or gift to someone special.

Private Silver Clay Jewellery Class £85 - £150
Come and join me for a relaxing time learning and creating with silver clay at my home studio in Southsea. You'll learn how to design and create your own silver jewellery using silver clay techniques with demonstrations and tips throughout. Silver clay is a recycled product so you’ll be creating jewellery in an ethical and sustainable way. You'll develop essential silver clay skills while crafting beautiful keepsakes for yourself or to gift to loved ones.
This hands-on activity welcomes participants of all skill levels, requiring no previous jewellery making experience. The silver clay process is structured and accessible – offering the satisfaction of working with precious metal in a form that's easy to shape and design. You will receive my complete attention for whole time.
During the class, you'll discover how to roll, texture, mould, shape and refine this versatile material under the guidance of an experienced instructor. You'll witness the magical transformation as you fire your clay pieces to become solid silver jewellery of hallmark quality with a professional finish. The session provides all necessary materials and tools, allowing you to focus entirely on the creative process of designing and crafting your unique piece. Light refreshments are included.
By the end of the class, you'll have created your own silver jewellery item – a beautiful accessory that you will be proud to wear yourself or give as a thoughtful gift. The choice of project is yours with guidance from me on what will be achievable in the time. You are welcome to contact me in advance if you have something specific in mind. This is a 4 hour workshop, times can be flexible.
